The Jeff Jordan's State Champ Camp, LLC philosophy is HARD WORK EQUALS SUCCESS!
The amount of confidence you have is directly related to how hard you work. Coach Jordan
was fortunate enough to win four state high school titles. A large part of his success was
due to the following:
* training year-round to gain confidence and mental toughness
* going to summer camps to learn techniques
* drilling the techniques intensely to master them
This camp is designed for the wrestler whose goal is to be a State Champion! This camp
concentrates heavily on takedowns. Major emphasis is placed on the setup, penetration
step, then the finish. The camp also covers leg turns and tilts on top, and escapes and
reversals on bottom. Coach Jordan preaches constant pressure on your opponent. Most
camps instruct on a technique, then you try the move a couple of times, then move on to
another technique without mastering any. In contrast, Coach Jordan instructs you on various
techniques, then makes you drill them hard 'til perfection.
This camp is an intensive camp because Coach Jordan feels that most athletes don't know
how hard they can push their bodies. You will work harder and push your body beyond what
you think is possible. You will do this through intense drilling. This will make you mentally tough.
Why This Camp Can Make You A WINNER:
* Only accept 30-45 wrestlers per week depending on weights and match-ups
* Wrestler-to-Coach ratio of 6 to 1
* Only camp that teaches you how to drill intensely
* Teaches you to master takedown techniques
* Live wrestling
* Prepares you to BREAK your opponent
* Instructs you on escapes and reversals
* Prepares you for mental toughness
* All athletes have a goal to be a state champ, so intensity level is very high
* Teaches turn and pin series
* Discussions on diet and nutrition
* Guidance on proper weight training
